Scott Smith received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1991 from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and a Juris Doctor in 1994 from Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, New Hampshire. In 2007 Scott received a Master of Arts Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in Tampa, Florida.

Scott is licensed to practice law in Florida and New Hampshire. He is also licensed to practice in the Federal Court of the Middle District for the State of Florida.

 

He is a Guardian ad Litem, member of the Florida Bar and Hernando County Bar Association, member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the Citrus-Hernando Inn of Court (2002 - 2004). He is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Scott has been practicing in the Hernando and Citrus County area since 1994.

He is active in his community serving as a member of the Knights of Columbus, member of the Brooksville Kiwanis Club (past president) and Brooksville Ridge Kiwanis Club, member of the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce, and past chairman of the Teen Leadership Hernando Program. He is also a graduate of Leadership Hernando.

Adam K. Holbrook is a dedicated family law attorney who guides clients through life’s toughest legal challenges with skill, compassion, and determination. A graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, the state’s top law school, he earned a Family Law Certificate to deepen his expertise in this sensitive field. As a member of the UF Trial Team, he honed his litigation skills, giving him a strong presence in the courtroom.

Before law school, Adam graduated with Honors from American University in Washington, D.C., earning dual degrees in Finance (B.S.) and Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics & Government (B.A.). This background gives him a strategic advantage in handling both the financial and legal complexities of family law.

With experience working for Guardian ad Litem, Adam is passionate about protecting families and advocating for the best interests of children. Whether negotiating settlements, mediating disputes, or taking cases to trial, he takes a results-driven approach, always striving for the best outcome. Confident in the courtroom and committed to his clients, Adam is ready to fight for you in any family law matter.
